MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Tech women's soccer (2-3-1, 0-1 SSC) suffered a tough defeat to Embry-Riddle. The final score of this home matchup was 4-0.
Kiana Zanganeh was a force on both ends for the Panthers as the defender tallied a team high three shots and one shot on goal.
Maria Munoz,
Jeeda Al-Naber,
Bryson Boyer and
Veronica Thordardottir all recorded one shot to bring the team's total to seven.
Maria Sanchez Recuero (2-2-1) had a respectable performance in goal as she had three saves.
Florida Tech did all it could and at times took the momentum away from the Eagles. But that was not enough as Embry-Riddle found the back of the net four times, twice in both halves.
The Panthers will look to put this game behind them as they turn their focus toward Saturday, Sept. 28, when they head to Miami Shores, Florida, to take on Barry.
