STATS OF THE MATCH:
- It was a scoreless draw in the first half. Florida Tech went into halftime with a 4-3 edge in shots. The Tritons led in corner kicks 3-1.
- Panthers broke through in the 52nd minute as Fabio Amaral converted a corner kick. Stian Hagboe Olsen was credited with the assist.
- Less than a minute later, Eckerd drew a foul in the Panthers' box to earn a penalty kick. Tommy Lamb converted the PK to tie it up 1-1.
- Juan Masqueda nearly gave the Panthers the lead in the final seconds, but his header went over the net to send the teams into OT.
- Four minutes into the second OT Guillermo Segovia netted the golden goal following a long cross from the right side by Olsen.
- Tech led in shots 14-8, shots on goal 2-1, and corner kicks 7-5. Five cautions were given, Panthers received two of them.
