Panthers Finish Out the Week with Victory over Saint Leo

 STATS OF THE MATCH:

  • Katie Erdmann delivered a big performance for the Panthers collecting 22 kills with a .226 hitting percentage. 
  • The freshman Lilian Muszynski registered a season high 10 kills with a .381 hitting percentage. 
  • Kayla Mastin also had an outstanding performance collecting nine kills with a .348 hitting percentage. Mastin tallied six blocks in tonight's match. 
  • Erin Arbour led the team with 25 digs once again. 

COACHES CORNER:

"Today was another great team win. Each person did their jobs. We were focusing on being aggressive behind the service line and passed well in serve receive. The focus today was to pass well, serve tough and keep the energy. They did all three of those, well. We were looking forward to another great week of practice!" 

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:

  • Erdmann reclaims her place at #1 for most kills in the Sunshine State Conference
  •  Muszynski and Mastin are ranked #10 and #11 for most blocks in the SSC (41 and 40). 
  • Erin Arbour climbs up to #1 in the SSC for most digs (224). 
  • Following today's match, this marks the first win against the Lions since 2012. 

UP NEXT:  The Crimson and Gray will be back Friday, October 8th, traveling to Boca Raton, Florida, to face Lynn University. The match is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. EST at the De Hoernle Sports & Cultural Center.
