COACHES CORNER:
"Today we weren't good enough for the first 45 minutes of the game," said head coach
Ryan Moon. "We didn't bring the energy and togetherness that's needed in conference games, and we were punished for it. Nova were well coached and came to play from the first whistle. We were much better in the second half but it's always difficult when you put yourself in a position where you're chasing the game. A great lesson for us to learn today and one that I believe will make us better in the long run. We will look to move on quickly from today as we prepare for another tough road trip on Wednesday."
BEYOND THEÂ BOXSCORE:
- Florida Tech drops to 8-13-1 all-time against NSU. Sharks have won six straight in the series dating back to 2015.Â
- Panthers are 2-2-2 in games decided by one goal or less this season.
- Sanchez Recuero ranks second in the SSC with just four goals allowed and an .852 saves percentage over 670 minutes played this season.Â
