- Rollins took the lead early on as a cross from the right side was placed directly in front of the goal for Nasar Tsaruk to find the back of the net in the 10th minute.
- Tech had a chance to tie it up just a couple of minutes later but the Tars keeper was able to make the save right on the line.
- Tsaruk gave Rollins some extra cushion to head into halftime scoring his second goal of the night at the 27th minute.
