GAME ONE

INSIDE THE MATCHUP

Location: Winter Haven, Fla. 

 STATS OF THE MATCH:

  • Panthers recorded 28 kills, 25 assists, six service aces, 10 blocks, 57 digs. 
  • Lilian Muszynski led the way with 10 kills and a .346 hitting percentage. Muszynski also recorded two blocks on the match. 
  • Erin Arbour led the team with 27 digs, while Maddelena Fairchild added 22 assists on the match. 

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:

  • Florida Tech is now 2-3 overall against the Falcons. 
  • These two teams faced the last time earlier this year in Jackson, Tennessee, where the Falcons took a 3-0 victory over Tech.

 STATS OF THE MATCH:

  • Tech collected 48 kills, with a team hitting a percentage of .263. Panthers also registered 47 assists, six services aces, 19 blocks, and 58 digs. 
  • Florida Tech defense outperformed the Flames and was a significant component of their success. 
  • Kayla Mastin led the way with five blocks and three kills on the night. 
  • Audrey Keenan collected a double-double with 12 digs and 11 kills. Kennan also had a .314 hitting percentage. 
  • Another big match by Fairchild tallying 42 assists with seven digs, while Arbour collected 24 digs on the match. 
  • Katie Erdmann led the team with 15 kills with an impressive .438 hitting percentage. Erdmann also added two blocks and seven digs on the night. 

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:

  • Panthers improve their overall record against the Flames to 3-1. 
  • These two teams faced the last time back in 2019 when Florida Tech took a 3-1 victory in Birmingham, Alabama.
  • Florida Tech concluded the annual South Regional Crossover with two victories and some good performances on all sides of the court.
