Melbourne, Fla. - Florida Tech, coming back home with a victory over Rollins on the road; Panthers head coach Amy O'Brien knew how to approach the Tars as they took a 3-0 victory at the Clemente Center in today's Saturday evening match.
Florida Tech dominated all three sets with 25-15, 25-11, and 25-12 victories.
Christina Mayberry led the team in kills with 10 with a .474 hitting percentage. The senior also had an outstanding night defensively, posting five blocks in the sweep.
Audrey Keenan and Delaney Lott all recorded six kills in today's match. Lott registered a .333 hitting percentage, while Keenan led the team with 11 digs.
The senior Jocelyn Garcia led the team in hitting percentage with .545 on six kills.
Anna Harry was a massive part of the successful Panther offense as she collected 17 assists. Harry also collected two kills, a service ace, a block, and three digs.
Maddalena Fairchild registered 14 assists in the setter position for Florida Tech. Fairchild also posted six digs, just four digs shy of a double-double.
Florida Tech finished the night as a team with 40 kills with a .371 hitting percentage. The Panthers defensively collected 34 assists, five service aces, 10 blocks, and 37 digs.
