DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.- In their regular season finale on the road, the Florida Tech Men's Soccer team defeated Embry-Riddle to secure the #2 seed in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- The Panthers dominated for the majority of the match. Tech outshot the Eagles 7-1 in the first half.
- Tech was aggressive from the beginning scoring their first goal just 8 minutes into the first half.
- Jack Edwards found Franco Sala Grigioni right in front of the net to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead.
- In the 30th minute of play. Joeran Osland was able to convert thanks to the double assist by Edwards and Grigioni to put Tech ahead 2-0.
- At the half, Tech lead 2-0.
- The Panthers came out of halftime continuing with the same energy from the first half.
- Soeren Nygaard intercepted a pass at the top of the box and easily found the back of the net and just like that the Panthers were ahead 3-0.
- In the 86th minute of the game, Eden Bokobza was able to sneak one past Luis Tovar Romero, Sr but it wouldn't be enough for a comeback against the Panthers.
- Tech led in corner kicks 6-0.
- Eagles goalkeeper Thomas Loesel recorded 3 saves.
- The Panthers had the edge in shots 13-2 and shots on goal 6-1.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Florida Tech is now 11-4-0 all- time against Embry-Riddle.
- The Panthers have won 9 consecutive matches against Embry-Riddle.
- Florida Tech is the only school in the Sunshine State Conference who went undefeated during the regular season.
- This is the first time Florida Tech men's soccer went undefeated during the regular season since 1993.
- Edwards recorded his second assist of the season.
- Grigioni notched his first career goal and assist.
- Nygaard picked up his second goal of the season and Osland recorded his first assist of the season and his third goal of the year.
- This is the third game this season the Panthers have scored three goals.
