MELBOURNE, Fla.- The Lady Panthers welcomed the Florida Southern Mocs on Saturday in a conference matchup. Florida Tech couldn't get things going offensively while the Mocs got out to an early lead that was too much for the Panthers to rally back from.

FIRST QUARTERÂ
- Florida Southern was on the board first with back-to-back layups.
- Tech responded with a three pointer from Sarah Liberatore.
- The Mocs went on a quick 7-0 run to quickly go up 11-3.
- The Panthers trailed 20-9 at the end of the quarter.
SECOND QUARTERÂ
- Panthers opened the quarter with two made free throws from Remingtyn Smith.
- Tai Roberts scored her first points of the night with a three-pointer.
- Florida Southern responded with a 10-0 run with 5:20 to go. The Mocs scored the last nine points of the quarter.
- Heading into the half the Mocs had a 40-16 lead.Â
THIRD QUARTER
- Divine Guthrie got the Panthers on the board with a free throw make the margin 44-17 with 7:24 to go.
- The Mocs pushed their lead to 30 after a 4-0 run.
- Roberts tried to get things going offensively when she knocked down a pull up three with 37 seconds to go.
- Florida Southern responded back with a 3-pointer to end the quarter up 60-31.
FOURTH QUARTER
- It was back and forth with even scoring from both teams.
- The Panthers scored 17 points in the fourth quarter and the Mocs put up 12.
- Tech finished the quarter on a 6-0 run.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Roberts finished with 12 points, five assists, two rebounds, and two steals.
- Liberatore added 14 points.
- Guthrie tallied seven points, three rebounds, and one steal.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Florida Tech is now 40-51 in the all-time series against Florida Southern.
- Florida Southern shot 44% (27-62) from the field, including 36% (8-22) from the three, and 63% (10-16) at the line.
- Florida Southern led in rebounds (42-28), second chance points (17-0), and points in the paint (28-20).
- The Panthers shot 32% (15-47) from the field, 21% (3-14) from behind the three-point line, and 83.3% (15-18) from the free-throw line.
- Tech led in bench points (30-29) and blocks (5-0).
- Both teams had six fast break points.
