- Freshman Zach Rodgers recorded his first win by throwing two and one-third innings of one-hit shutout ball in relief of starter Boris Villa.Â

- This was the first meeting between the teams since February 21, 2010.
- The Panthers now lead the all-time series 8-1.
- The 60 runs scored and 58 hits tallied by the Crimson and Gray over the past four games are the most by FT in a four-game stretch since they scored 59 and logged 57 hits between March 19-25, 2016.Â
