FIRST HALF:
- Barry got off to a fast start leading 12-2 just 4:35 into the first quarter.
- Fanny Paulin knocked down a three off an assist from Hannah Roney to cut the margin to 12-5 with 4:20 to go.
- Bucs went on a 4-0 run to push the lead to 16-5 with 2:27 remaining.
- Panthers scored the final four points of the first, on a jumper by Dalma Ehmann and a pair of free throws by Paulin, to trim to margin to 16-9 heading into the second quarter.
- Barry used an 8-0 run to stretch its lead to 31-14 with 5:01 left on the clock in the second quarter.
- Tech outscored Barry 8-6 the rest of the quarter and the Panthers went into halftime trailing 37-22.
SECOND HALF:
- Barry opened the third quarter on an 6-2 run to grow its lead to 19, 43-24, with 7:54 left.
- Back-to-back baskets by Aiste Vaitekunaite and Paulin decreased the margin to 45-30 with 3:52 to go in the third.
- Bucs scored the final four points of the third and lead 51-32 heading to the fourth quarter.
- A 7-3 run to open the fourth helped Barry increase its advantage to 23 points, 58-35 with 7:21 remaining. Aayana Nedd drained a three during the Bucs run for her first points of the game.
- Panthers used a 5-0 run, including a layup by Vaitekunaite and a three by Roney, to cut the Bucs lead to 58-40 with 4:56 to go.
- That was the closest the Panthers came the rest of the way as the Bucs eventually won by a 21-point margin.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Fanny Paulin led the Panthers with 14 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal on 4-11 shooting including two made threes
- Aiste Vaitekunaite recorded 8 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block while shooting 4-13 from the field
- Hannah Roney finished with 6 points, 6 assists, 4 steals and 2 rebounds on 2-6 shooting
- Makyla Daniels ended with 6 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks on 2-6 shooting
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Tech finished the game shooting 31.4% (16-51) from the field, 22.7% (5-22) from beyond the arc, and 70% (7-10) on free throws.
- Barry shot 46.6% (27-58) in the contest, including 38.9% (7-18) from the three-point range, and converted 40% (4-10) at the line.
- Bucs won the rebounding battle (41-27) and had an edge (28-14) in points the paint.
