STATS OF THE GAME:
  • With runners on second and third, Bucs' take advantage of a pass ball to put the first and only run on the board in the bottom of the 2nd, unearned.
  • Barry's pitcher, Maci Barnhart, did not walk a batter and struck out six Panthers.
  • Mikayla Lewin reached first on a single to left field and was Tech's only base runner in the 2nd.
  • Alex Hendrian (1-1) started in the circle and threw all 6 innings for the Panthers. Hendrian struck out three Bucs' and only allowed one unearned run in the 2nd
 
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
  • Panthers move to 26-95 all-time against Barry.
  • The last time Florida Tech dropped a conference opener was Feb. 23, 2018 in a 1-0 loss against Saint Leo.
