FIRST HALF:
- Panthers took an early 5-0 lead with a three ball from Hannah Roney assisted by Cheyenne Scott and an unassisted layup from Fanny Paulin, 7:26 to go.
- PBA answered back with an 8-2 run, 12-7 with 4:01 left.
- Back-to-back layups and a three-pointer gave Tech the lead, 14-12 with 1:29 to play in the first frame.
- Sailfish tied it up in the last 30-seconds with an uncontested layup by Shekinan Guthrie, 14-14.
- Teams exchanged baskets the majority of the second quarter until the Panthers went on a 6-0 run to take a 31-30 advantage into the break. Baskets by Paulin and Severine Uggen.
SECOND HALF:
- Two consecutive three-pointers by PBA put the Panthers down by five, 38-33 with 7:38 remaining.
- Panthers ensued on 10-4 run to lead 43-42, 3:53 to go.
- Sailfish retook the lead with two baskets from the charity stripe, 44-43.
- Roney sunk a long jumper before the buzzer to cut the deficit, 51-47 going into the final frame.
- PBA advanced their lead on a 15-2 run to open the fourth, 66-50 with 3:39 to go.
- Tech slimmed PBA's lead, 66-55, with six consecutive points - three free throws by Lina Stranger-Johannessen and Scott and a three ball by Uggen.
- Aayana Nedd tallied a layup before the buzzer to end the game.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Paulin led the Crimson & Gray with 15 points, five rebounds, and two steals.
- Roney tallied 13 points, two rebounds, two steals, and one block.
- Uggen finished the contest with 11 points, three steals, and two points on 4-8 shooting.
- Scott posted a team-high six rebounds.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE:
- Tech finished the game shooting 30.3% (20-66) from the field, 26.5% (9-34) from beyond the arc, and 66.7% (10-15) on free throws.
- Sailfish shot 43.9% (29-66) in the contest, 35% (7-20) from the three-point range, and 66.7% (6-9) at the line.
- PBA outrebounded Tech, 52-34, and led in second chance points (26-9) and bench points (27-20).
- Panthers held the advantage In fast break points (9-6), blocks (5-4), and steals (13-6).
