- EC wasted no time jumping ahead of the Panthers, scoring 7 runs on 7 hits and three stolen bases in the top of the first.
- Lions would go on to score a run in each of the next two innings to advance their lead, 9-0.
- Victoria Szrom singled to left field driving in two runs to put the Panthers on the board in the bottom of the 5th.
- A bases-loaded walk for Jolie Miracle allowed Mikayla Lewin to score and cut the deficit, 9-3.
- Lions went on to score one more off a RBI triple in the 7th inning.
- Samantha Guider took the loss in the circle, now 0-1 on the season.
- Cheyenne Nelson went 2 for 3 with one run for the Panthers.

- Carson-Newman recorded three runs on one hit in the first inning.
- Eagles added one in the third off a Panther error. Their final six runs came in the fourth off seven hits.
- Kelsie Rivers took the loss going three innings allowing two earned runs.
- Chloe French got on base in two out of three trips to the plate in the contest.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- This was the first meeting with both teams for the Panthers.
- Alex Hendrian made her collegiate debut pitching seven innings between both games.
