STATS OF GAME ONE:
- Bats were hot starting off as each team recorded three runs in the opening frame.
- Mikayla Lewin's RBI double scored Mikayla Wessel, Chloe French singled to plate Lewin, and Ella Gibson singled up the middle to score French.
- Emma Gibson blasted a three-run homerun to tie it up, 3-3.
- Sailfish plated two, on a wild pitch and a RBI groundout, in the bottom of the 2nd to take a 5-3 lead.
- Panthers answered back scoring two to tie it up, 5-5. French reached home on a wild pitch and Whitney Ellis hit a sacrifice fly out to plate Jolie Miracle.
- PBA closed the door in the bottom of the 6th adding four. Three runs came from RBI singles and one from a sacrifice fly.
- Four players from the Panthers earned two hits each with three recording at least one extra-base hit.
- Three pitches saw action for Tech, allowing a combined nine hits, nine runs with 7 earned, four walks, and one strikeout on 102 pitches.
STATS OF GAME TWO:
- Tech took the early lead in the first on a bases-loaded RBI fielder's choice from Chloe French.
- Panthers put up a 3-spot in the second as Mikayla Lewin was hit by a pitch with bases-loaded to score Victoria Szrom and French singled through the left side to plate two.
- The final run came on French's RBI single up the middle in the final inning.
- French, Lewin, and Mikayla Wessel led Tech with a combined five hits, three runs, and four RBI.
- Samantha Guider threw a complete game shutout allowing just three hits while striking out two and throwing 64 strikes on 96 total pitches.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Panthers move to 33-28 all-time against Palm Beach Atlantic.
- Cheyenne Nelson's first inning single in game one extended her hitting streak to 13 consecutive games. This matched her career-high set between Feb. 8-29, 2020.
- Nelson set a new career-high extending her hitting streak in game two to 14 straight games.
- Ashley Campbell played her 100th game as a Panther in game one.
- Samantha Guiders complete-game shutout was her second of the season and third of her career.
- Tori Szrom hit her 100th career hit in game two.
