STATS OF GAME ONE:
- Sharks tallied a run in the 2nd inning and never looked back as they run-ruled the Panthers.
- A RBI fielder's choice gave NSU their first run in the 2nd and a RBI single put up run number two in the 3rd.
- A RBI single up the middle and a RBI triple to right field doubled the NSU lead.
- Four more runs in the 5th ended the game for Tech.
- Alex Hendrian (7-5) suffered the loss in the circle, allowing five hits, four runs and two walks on two strikeouts in 3 2/3 innings of work.
- Emily Hess got the win for the Sharks allowing just one Panther hit and one walk in five innings.
STATS OF GAME TWO:
- NSU was first one the board with RBI groundout in the opening frame.
- Mikayla Wessel singled on a bunt to lead off the 3rd inning. Cheyenne Nelson following with a double to right center sending Wessel home to tie it up, one a piece.
- A bases-loaded single from Nelson plated Victoria Szrom and Whitney Ellis to give Tech the lead, 3-1, in the 4th inning.
- Sharks cut the deficit on a RBI double (unearned) in the 5th.
- NSU plated four in the 6th to take the lead, all unearned runs.
- In their last at bat, Panthers went down in order to end the game.
- Wessel and Nelson each had a multi-hit game.
- Only one of NSU's runs was earned.
- Samantha Guider threw 4 2/3 innings allowing six hits, two runs, and one walk on one strikeout.
- Kelsie Rivers pitched 2/3 an inning allowing two runs on no hits and one walk.
- Alex Hendrian pitched 2/3 an inning allowing one hit, two runs, and no walks on one strikeout.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- The Panthers move to 36-28 all-time against the Nova Southeastern Sharks.
- Cheyenne Nelson extended her hitting streak to 19 consecutive games.
- Nelson's double in game two moves her into the Top-10 in program history for career doubles with 30.
