STATS OF THE ONE:
- The Panthers got on the board with four runs in the first. Mikayla Wessel scored on a bases-loaded walk, Mikayla Lewin took home on a wild pitch, and Jolie Miracle doubled to right field to plate Ella Gibson and Victoria Szrom.
- Eagles threatened in the second with bases-loaded on two outs, but Tech ended the inning with a lineout.
- RBI singles from Cheyenne Nelson and Lewin put Tech up, 6-0, heading into the third.
- A homerun over the centerfield wall put ERAU on the board in the third.
- Miracle hit her second two-run double of the game to advance the Panthers lead, 8-1, in the fifth.
- Miracle led the Panther offense going 2-3 with four RBI.
- Samantha Guider threw a complete-game to earn the win in the circle. Guider allowed nine hits, one run and one ball on three strikeouts.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- The Panthers move to 11-8 all-time against the Embry-Riddle Eagles.
- Mikayla Wessel moved up to ninth all-time in program history for hits with 184.
- This is the fourth win of the season over a ranked opponent.
- Wessel's triple was her second of the season.
