WINTER PARK, FLA.- Florida Tech overcame a 2-1 deficit to battle Rollins to five sets. The Panthers came up just short falling in set five.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
- The first set was very close with neither team having a lead of more than four until the Tech took a five-point lead 23-18.
- Rollins closed back in taking a 5-1 making it 24-23 but a Tars serving error gave Tech set one.
- Rollins raced out in set two going on an 8-18 and didn't allow the Panthers within more than five points for the rest of the set.
- Teams traded points for most of set three. Tied up at 22-22, Tars closed out the match on a 3-1 run with the match point coming off a Panther error.
- Set four was a marathon as teams went back and forth the entire set. It wasn't until a kill from Bowrosen followed by a block from Glassgold and Kayla Mastin that Tech was able to string together the consecutive points needed to win the set, 33-31, sending the match to a fifth set.
- The Panthers won the opening point, but Rollins got the next three to take an early two-point lead (3-1).
- After trading side outs for a few serves, the Tars went on a short 4-1 run to push their advantage to 9-5
- The Panthers quickly responded, scoring three straight to make it a one-point contest (9-8).
- A block from the Tars pushed the lead to three (12-9), and Rollins closed out the match by scoring five of the final six points to pull away for a 15-10 win in the fifth, earning the 3-2 match victory.
- Katie Erdmann led the Panthers with 21 digs and a match-high 27 kills while hitting .436.
- Bowrosen added 14 kills and 16 digs, while Glassgold had five kills and a team-high seven blocks.
- Kenzi Delacher distributed a team-leading 49 assists and picked up 16 digs, while Kari Bogen (17 digs) and Courtney Capar (10 digs) also reached double-digit digs.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- The Panthers are now 26-31 all-time against the Tars.
- Tonight's 57 kills are the most in a match by the Panthers since October 10, 2018, against Mississippi College. Â
