No. 18 Panthers Play to Tie with No. 11 Saints

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Florida Tech battled #11 Flagler to a 0-0 draw on Monday at Saints Field. With new rules starting this season, there is no overtime in regular season games. The game ended in a tie after 90-minutes of regulation.

STATS OF THE MATCH: 
  • Florida Tech controlled the offensive momentum during the first half and had a 9-5 edge in shots during the first 45 minutes of play.
  • The Saints controlled the second half outshooting Tech 4-2.
  • Tech finished with a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.
  • Cristina Garriga led the Panthers with two shots including one on goal. Kajsa Ekstrom, Lauryn Wood, JoJo Michaels, Allyn Jamie, and Daniela Tobon each recorded one shot with all five being on goal.
  • The teams combined for two yellow cards and Flagler's Andrea Fernandez was ejected with a red card.
  • Tech and Flagler combined for 16 fouls in the game.
  • Maria Sanchez Recuero recorded three saves while Flagler's Madison North finished with six stops in goal.
