MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Florida Tech men's soccer team outlasted PBA on the road Saturday night, 4-3, in a hard-fought weekend SSC match.

STATS OF THE MATCH
- The Panthers used an early score from Fabio Amaral to get on the board first in just the ninth minute of the match.
- Less than 10 minute later, PBA notched the equalizer to make it 1-1.
- Both teams battled for possession for the next several minutes. In the 37th minute, Jacopo Ghezzi smashed a shot on target, but the Sailfish keeper was able to make the save.
- With the first half clock winding down, Osvaldo Santana looked to score in the 44th minute. His attempt was also stopped by PBA's keeper and the teams went in halftime with a score of 1-1.
- Just two minutes into the second half, Joeran Osland found Sjur Drechsler who knocked his shot into the back of the net to give Tech a 2-1 advantage.
- In the 59th minute, Amaral scored his second goal of the day off an assist from Ghezzi to extend the Panthers' lead to 3-1.
- 10 minutes later, the Sailfish cut into the lead with a strike by Luke Imgrund to make it 3-2.
- In the 72nd minute, Oskar Ihlen gave Tech another two-goal lead after he found the back of the net off an assist from Joakim Jahnsen.
- After another battle for possession, PBA cut the lead down to one with a goal in the 82nd minute of the match.
- In the closing minutes, the Sailfish were able to get three more shots off but none were on target and the match ended with a score of 4-3.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Florida Tech moves to 12-14-3 all-time against PBA.
- The Panthers have now won two straight against the Sailfish after going 0-9-2 in their previous 11 meetings.
- This is the third time this season that Fabio Amaral has scored twice in a match.
