STATS OF THE GAME:
- Wingate's leadoff hitter singled to start the game, but Jolie Miracle showed off her arm throwing her out at second on a steal to clear the bases.
- Mikayla Lewin's sacrifice fly brought home Cheyenne Nelson from third.
- Sam Guider struck out back-to-back batters to end the second inning.
- Miracle's single in the 5th inning brought home Layna Pollock from third to give the Panthers a 2-0 lead.
- In the top of the 6th, the first batter up hit a hard ball to the gap in between left and center field. Freshman Ella Niles tracked the ball down making one heck of a play in left field for the out.
- Florida Tech wrapped up the game in the top of the 7th with a 1,2,3, inning to secure the victory.
- Sam Guider picked up her second win of the season. She threw four innings, allowing three hits, one walk, and no runs. Guider had three strikeouts.
- Alli Platon got the save throwing three innings. Platon allowed no hits and had one strikeout.

- Florida Tech is now 2-2 against Wingate in the all-time series.
- Cheyenne Nelson went 2-3 at the plate. Nelson is on a 5-game hitting streak and ranked 2nd in the SSC with 17 hits.
- Jolie Miracle was 2-3 at the plate with an RBI.
- This is the first game of the season;Â Tech held their opponent to 0 runs.
- For the second time this season, the Panthers produced 9 hits.
