MELBOURNE, FLA- Florida Tech Softball welcomed Alderson Broaddus Tuesday night for a non-conference game. This was the first meeting between the two schools. The Panthers are back in the win column after dominating the Battlers in back-to-back games.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Jolie Miracle's RBI single in the 1st inning scored Cheyenne Nelson and Ella Niles to get the Panthers on the board early.
- Miracle drove in two more runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning to give Tech a 4-0 lead.
- Mya Ogbodiewgu's sacrifice fly scored Miracle from third.
- In the 6th inning, Nelson's single to right field brought home Layna Pollock from second.
- Up by six in the bottom of the 5th inning, the Panthers needed just two more runs to end the game.
- Ella Gibson got things going with a double to left center field. Chole French grounded out but moved Gibson over to third. On the next play, the Battlers were able to get Gibson out at home.
- Schwartz reached on a fielder's choice. With two outs, Pollock delivered with a base hit to right field. Kelly McLaughlin reached first on an error, but two runs scored and that would end the game.
- Sam Guider threw a 1 hit complete game shutout. Guider threw 58 pitches and struck out five batters.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- In the bottom of the 2nd inning, Gibson singled to left field. French's SAC bunt moved Gibson to second.
- Miranda Schwartz blasted a 2-run shot to dead center field to give the Panthers a 2-0 lead.
- Mikayla Lewin's RBI single brought home Nelson from second.
- Miracle tripled to right field bringing home another run to give Teach a 4-0 lead.
- Miracle scored on a wild pitch to tack on another run before the end of the 3rd inning.
- In the bottom of the 4th inning, Tech tacked on two more runs on two hits. Â
- Heading into the bottom of the 6th, the Panthers led 7-0. Mary Polak reached third base on an error by left field.
- Nelson's single brought home Polak to end the game.
- Allison Platon picked up her fourth win of the season in the circle for the Panthers. Platon threw innings allowing just one hit.Â
- Alex Hendrian came in to relieve Platon in the fourth inning. Hendrian allowed no hits.Â

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- This is the first meeting between Florida Tech and Alderson Broaddus.
- The Panthers stole a total of 12 stolen bases between both games.
- Ella Niles is now 14-14 on stolen bases this season. Niles is 5th in the SSC in stolen bases.
- Jolie Miracle had herself a day. Miracle went 3-6 at the plate with 6 RBI's. She is currently 4th in the SSC in RBIs with 17 on the season.
- Miranda Schwartz hit her second homerun of the season.
- The Panthers had 18 hits on the day.
