WEST PALM BEACH, FLA.- The Florida Tech Panthers baseball team were able to fit in one of these two games scheduled for Saturday, April 29
th, before game two was postponed in the second inning due to inclement weather.

STATS OF GAME 1:
- The Sailfish got on the board first with a leadoff home run in the bottom of the first.
- Sam Schner drove in Brett Parrish on a sacrifice fly to left field to tie the game up in the top of the third with one out.
- PBA scored two more runs in the bottom of the fifth to go ahead 3-1.
- Palm Beach later extended its lead to three in the bottom of the sixth following a single which drove in a PBA runner from second base.
- Justin Lovell of PBA was relieved In the top of the seventh for the sailfish by Chris Seymore.
- Lovell recorded three hits, one earned run, two walks and two strikes through six innings on the mound while throwing 91 pitches, 58 of which being strikes.
- To start the bottom of the seventh, Tyler Vermillion came in the relieve Danny Vassallo.
- After six innings, Vassallo recorded eight hits with four runs, all earned, while striking out four PBA batters after throwing 88 total pitches, 55 being strikes for a 0.625 strike percentage.
- The Sailfish would score one more in the bottom of the seventh off a sacrifice fly to right field to go ahead 5-1.
- Daniel Foster would relieve Seymour with one out in the top of the eighth.
- In the bottom of that inning the Sailfish would score two more runs. One off an error followed by another sacrifice fly to right as PBA would go ahead 7-1 and take the win in game one of the three game weekend series.
- Vermillion recorded two innings on the mound allowing one hit, three runs, one earned, while striking out one batter and throwing 36 pitches, 19 of them being strikes.
- Vassallo was the pitcher of record for the Panthers for the team's loss as he moves to 3-3 for the season.

STATS OF GAME 2:
- Brett Kelly homered in the Top of the first to give the Panthers an early 1-0 lead.
- Austin Sewell drove in Sam Schner in the top of the second inning off an RBI single.
- Due to inclement weather the game was delayed and eventually postponed.

UP NEXT:Â The Panthers are scheduled to pick up today's game two tomorrow, in the top of the second inning. That game will then be followed by the game originally scheduled for Friday, April 28
th that was also postponed due to inclement weather.
