MELBOURNE, Fla.- Women's basketball head coach
John Reynolds has released Florida Tech's 2023-24 schedule. The Panthers' 31-game slate features 14 games at the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center, 11 games on the road, and six neutral site contests.
"We are excited and looking forward to getting this season started," stated Reynolds. "We have a great blend of returners with five new additions to our program."
Tech opens its season on the road at the Conference Commissioner's Challenge in Billings, Montana, Nov. 3-5. The Panthers will face the Minnesota State University Mankato, Minot State University, and Montana State University.
The Crimson and Gray will then travel to Saint Leo to compete in the Saint Leo Conference Challenge, on Nov. 10 & 11. Florida Tech will play Clark Atlanta on Nov. 10 and will be in action the following day as they take on Central State University, on Nov. 11.
The Panthers return for their home opener against West Alabama on Nov.16 and stay home for one more game against University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras on Nov. 20. Tech will head to Daytona Beach to face North Greenville University and Flagler in the Embry-Riddle Thanksgiving Classic, on Nov. 24 & 25.
The Panthers begin Sunshine State Conference play at home against Rollins on Nov. 29 before traveling to Saint Leo and Embry-Riddle. Florida Tech will host Flagler and Clayton State in the Florida Tech Holiday Classic on Dec. 18 & 19.
The first six games of 2024 will see the Panthers alternate between home and away. The Panthers will face Palm Beach Atlantic (Jan.3), Eckerd (Jan.10), Tampa (Jan.17), Lynn (Jan.20), and Rollins (Jan.31) on the road and will host Florida Southern (Jan.6), Nova Southeastern (Jan.13), and Barry (Jan.24).
Three of the four final regular season games see the Panthers play right here in Melbourne. The highlight of these four games is the season final and the team's senior day on Saturday, Mar. 2 against Tampa.
