Box Score MELBOURNE, FLA. – Florida Panthers volleyball took the Victory over the No. 4 University of Tampa Spartans on Aloha Friday in five sets!

STATS OF THE MATCH:
First Set:
- The game began with a competitive race for a lead, a back-and-forth contest as expected. It wasn't till late in the set tied at 19 when the Panthers would go on the final 5-0 run to end the set and take the match lead 1-0.
Second Set:
- Much like set 1, set 2 was even keeled the whole way till the 20pt mark. At this point the Spartans were able to take a 2pt lead that would propel them to a 23-25 set win bringing us to a tie at 1-1 in the match.
Third Set:
- This set could've been a pivotal shift in the momentum of the match as we saw the Spartans take a 5pt lead early in the set. However, the Panthers had other plans in mind as they would claw back and tie things up at 17 before the Spartans would separate
Fourth Set:
- In the set the Panthers could've given up after dropping 2 straight but they chose to fight, and this set would be close until the 16pt mark where the Panthers would rattle 6 straight points leading them to a 25-17 set win.
Fifth Set:
- Taking the #No.4 Spartans to the fifth set had the fans at the edge of their seats and what better way for the Panthers to get their first program win over the No.4 Spartans!

- The Panthers earn their first win over Tampa in program history
- #10 Lilian Muszynski became the seventh player in program history to record 70 career block solos and the first since Janelle Branch in 2010.
- Panthers now 8-0 at home
