STATS OF THE MATCH
- There was little action to start, as each team combined for one shot in the first 25 minutes.
- Filippo Fazzi broke the offensive drought for the Panthers in the 25th minute with his team-leading seventh goal of the season.
- Unfortunately, 10 minutes later, Eckerd secured the equalizer. Heading into the half, the teams were tied 1-1.
- The Panthers had more offensive possession in the second half. Tech took 10 shots in the half compared to two in the first half. However, they were unable to take the lead.
- Eckerd withstood the barrage of shots and began fighting back on their own late in the game. The Tritons took three of their four second-half shots in the final ten minutes.
- The third shot led to the Triton's second and game-winning goal by Luciano Rodriguez.
