STATS OF THE MATCH:
First Set:
- In a much-needed match for the Panthers, Chiara Patelli would get the night started with a kill assisted from Kenzie Delacher to take the 1-0 lead over the Mocs.
- The Mocs would answer with a kill of their own and each team would than go back and forth exchanging the lead and ties.
- Efforts from Cordelia Kearns, Lilian Muszynski, & Tessa Mati would keep the Panthers involved with the Mocs.
- At the 10-point mark the Panthers would hit on their first run of the game (3-0) via an error, a Cordelia Kearns kill, and a Jeanna Hassoun service ace to take a one-point lead, 12-11.
- The Mocs would than respond with a (3-0) run of their own to take back the lead now up two, 12-14.
- Once again, the Panthers would than answer back with a run, (4-1) via a Tessa Mati kill and block assist by Chiara Patelli & Antia Vallecas Rodriguez and take the lead, 16-15.
- Unfortunately for the Panthers this would be the last time they held the lead in set one as they would be outscored (1-10) and lose the first set, 17-25.
Second Set:
- It would be Chiara Patelli to get the scoring for the Panthers once again, this time it would be to tie at 1-1.
- The Mocs would answer with a (1-3) run and the panthers in turn would respond with a (2-0) run bringing the match to a tie at 4-4.
- The teams would once again tie at 8-8, which would be the last tie of the set, unfortunately for the Panthers.
- The Panthers would be outscored (3-12) over the course of the set and be faced with a large hole to dig out of now behind, 11-20.
- With the help of an (8-2) run the Panthers would claw back into this set, Tessa Mati, Lilian Muszynski, Chiara Patelli, and Ashley Rants would lead the Panthers over this stretch, 19-22.
- Just as the Panthers would pull so close, the Mocs would take the momentum and the set win via a (1-3) run to close out, 20-25.
Third Set:
- Now facing a match loss, Head Coach Jordan Willis must have known just what to say to get the team motivated as the Panthers would spring out of the gate climbing to a 6-0 lead.
- Chiara Patelli would lead the Panthers in this stretch with help from Irene Kitson and Cordelia Kearns.
- The Panthers would stay in the lead through the Mocs responses with a (6-4) run via an error by the Mocs, Cordelia Kearns three kills and one service ace and a Tessa Mati kill, 12-4.
- Everyone would touch the stat sheet as the Panthers would continue to pour it on offensively matching every point from the Mocs with a point of their own as their lead would rise to 11, 17-6.
- The Panthers would continue to have everything go their way now through the hands of Chiara Patelli and Cordelia Kearns and the Mocs would only get as close as eight when Antia Vallecas Rodriguez would deliver the final two kills to take the set win for the Panthers.
Fourth Set:
- The Panthers started the set with an Irene Kitson kill to get on the board down 1-4 to the Mocs.
- With the help of two service aces, three errors and one kill, the Panthers would erase the Mocs lead and take control of this match 8-5.
- Tech would grow their lead up to five with an Irene Kitson kill, a Cordelia Kearns & Lilian Muszynski block assist, and a rare but amazing Jeanna Hassoun kill, 11-6.
- The Mocs would climb back to within three points, but the Panthers would respond back with an (7-3) run building the lead up 18-9.
- The Panthers would have this one in control as they would cruise to the win, 25-14 ending the set with three consecutive points to then tie the series at 2-2.
Fifth Set:
- The Panthers fought back to get back in this game down two games to none, now competing for the win.
- Tech would start with a blaze as they would quickly jump to a 3-0 lead via Chiara Patelli and Cordelia Kearns.
- The Mocs would respond right back however and tie the set at 3-3.
- It would be at a 5-5 tie that the Panthers would separate themselves and sprint toward the finish as they went on a (4-0) run via three Cordelia Kearns kills and an error from the Mocs, 9-5.
- The Panthers would finish the game off with a (6-2) run via two Lilian Muszynski kills and four errors by the Mocs as Tech completes the comeback match win.

- All-time vs. Florida Southern: 11-74
- Tech is completed their first season sweep of the Moccasins since 2001 and their second ever.
- Panthers are 3-40 all-time at Florida Southern and their first win in Lakeland since September 28, 2019.
- Tech achieves their sixth 20-win season in program history and the first since 2008.
- One more win will match the program record for wins in a season which was set in 2001 and 2007.
- Lilian Muszynski's 31 block solos are currently tie her for sixth, 1 more will tie her for third and six more will give her sole possession of second.
- Her 126 total blocks move her into sole for third all time.
- Her 103 block assists give her sole possession of third most in a season in program history. She needs just one for second.
- Chiara Patelli's 92 block assists this season enters her in the program's single season top 10 for block assists.
