  • The Eagles would jump out to an early 17-point lead as Tech just couldn't get anything to fall, 6-23.
  • Tech would have to fight to get back in this contest and would grind to get back within 11 points with much-needed help off the bench from AJ Lieuwen, and Logan Allen, 29-40.
  • The Eagles would raise their lead back to 17, but not for long as Tech would respond.
  • Late in the second half, it would be Donovan Brown to get things going for the Panthers to keep them involved as he would score eight straight taking the game to halftime, 39-50.

Second Half:
  • Tech would start the second half with a fury as they would quickly erase the Eagles lead starting with a Max Polk three-pointer.
  • It would be a collective run from Tech as Brown, Allen, and Xavier Ford-Belton, would hit a flurry of shots and dunks to bring it within one point, 60-61 at the 13-minute mark.
  • It would be a Brown layup that would tie the game for Tech as they completed the battle back from 17 down.
  • In return, the Eagles would answer with a (1-11) run to push the lead to 10 and that would be the last big run of the game.
