MELBOURNE, FLA. – The Florida Tech Panthers volleyball season comes to an end after a one-to-three-game loss at the hands of the Embry-Riddle Eagles.

STATS OF THE MATCH:
First Set:
- Antia Vallecas Rodriguez would start the game for the Panthers as she would register a kill assisted by Kenzie Delacher, 1-0.
- The Eagles, in turn, would respond with a (4-0) run to take their first lead of the set, 1-4.
- Cordelia Kearns and Irene Kitson would get involved in the matchup and respond with two kills for Tech, 3-4.
- Throughout the set, the teams traded points back and forth, with the Eagles slowly increasing their lead to six at one point, 9-15.
- Tech would continue to fight from behind to try and get back in this one, but it would be the Eagles keeping their foot on the gas and taking the set win, 17-25.
Second Set:
- This time around it would be Chiara Patelli to get the scoring started for the Panthers as she registered an unassisted kill, 1-0.
- The Eagles again would respond with a (4-0) run to take the lead, 1-4.
- Tech would claw to get back in this one and would tie at 7-7 with help from Cordelia Kearns, Chiara Patelli, and Tessa Mati.
- Tech would then take the lead after a (5-0) run to go up 12-8 after kills from Lilian Muszynski, Kearns twice, and Mati.
- The Eagles would answer to make things close with a (2-5) run to cut the Panthers lead, 14-13.
- The Panthers would deliver one final run (5-0) via an error, kills from Vallecas Rodrigues, Kearns, Kitson and a service ace from Courtney Capar, 19-13.
- Unfortunately for Tech, they would be outscored (7-15) as the Eagles would come back and win extra points, 26-28.
Third Set:
- Facing elimination, Tech would need all hands on deck to stay alive in the match.
- Thanks to Muszynski, Kearns, and Patelli, they would jump to an early 6-3 lead.
- The Eagles would get back in the contest quickly and tie the set at 6-6.
- Tech had their best offensive outing as they increased their lead up to 10 points, finally having their offense going for the whole team, 17-7.
- This would be the closest that the Eagles would get back in this set as Tech would cruise to the win, 25-13, and stay alive in the match.
Fourth Set:
- Similar to sets one and two, the Panthers would start hot but face a deficit early, down 1-4.
- Tech would fight to get back and take the lead at 7-6 as Mati would register three kills in the process.
- Things would unfortunately take a turn for Tech as this would be the last lead they would hold.
- The Eagles lead would grow to 10 and would stay there as Tech would take the loss, 15-25.
- The Panther's incredible season has come to a finish, but if history tells us anything, they will be back.

- Cordelia Kearns achieved 500+ kills in a season, a feat that has only now been done for the second time in program history
- Lillian Muszynski finishes with 78 career block solos, 5th all-time for a single season.
- She finished 9th on the career block assist list.
- She's also tied with Alea Hamm (2012-2015) for sixth place on the total blocks list.
- She becomes the seventh player in program history with 300+ total blocks in their career.
- Cordelia Kearns finishes with 501 kills, achieving the second most in a season in program history.
- Kari Voelstad Bogen achieves eighth place on the program's career digs list.
