MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Panthers took an early lead against Florida Southern in game three on Saturday morning, but the Mocs rallied back in the sixth and seventh innings to earn the series win.

- Florida Tech retired nine Mocs to start the game.
- The Panthers tacked on a run in the bottom of the first.
- Ella Niles led off with a walk, followed by a sacrifice bunt from Kelly McLaughlin to move Niles into scoring position.
- Jolie Miracle hit one through the left side for a double, putting two Panthers in scoring position.
- Katie Hogue walked to load the bases.
- Next batter up, Miranda Schwartz, hit a sacrifice fly to send Niles to the plate.
- Tech scored three in the bottom of the third to extend the lead 4-0.
- Niles singled to shortstop and then stole second before McLaughlin hit a sacrifice bunt to put her on third.
- Katie Houge followed with a single through the left since to score Niles.
- Back-to-back singles by Miranda Schwartz and Mya Ogbodiegwu loaded the bases.
- Kathryn Sexton singled down the left line to score Hogue and Schwartz.
- In the top of the fourth, FSC's Skylar Ralstin homered to give the Mocs their first run.
- FSC began to make their comeback in the top of the sixth. With two outs a Panther fielding error allowed for a Mocs batter to reach third.
- The Mocs would score on two RBI singles in the sixth.
- The Panthers put two in scoring position in the bottom of the sixth but were unable to capitalize.
- The seventh inning saw the Mocs score four.
- Four singles in a row would plate two for the Mocs, before a Panther fielding error would allow for two more to score.
- Tech ended the inning on a double play.
- Looking to tie it up, back-to-back singles and a Mocs error put Hogue on third and Ogbodiewgu on second.
- Sexton's sacrifice fly scored Hogue. The next batter up, Samantha Shortal, was hit by a pitch to put the game-tying run on base.
- Mocs were able to get out of the inning on a ground out and earn the 7-5 win.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- The Panthers' all-time series with Florida Southern now stands at 36-99.
- Jolie Miracle extended her hitting streak to four games.
- Kathryn Sexton extends her on-base streak to seven games.
- Katie Hogue went a career-high 3-3 at the plate.
