ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Florida Tech women's soccer team stumbles on the road against Eckerd on Saturday, Oct. 25. With the 0-1 loss, Tech is now 7-3-5 (3-2-3 SSC) while the Tritons improve to 5-5-3 (4-2-2 SSC).

GAME NOTES
- Tech generated the first scoring opportunity of the match in the 7th minute. An Eckerd foul gave the Panthers a free kick which turned into Florida Tech's first shot from Alice Mottershead that was saved by the Triton keeper.
- Eckerd marched down the field within the next minute as they fired their first shot that was deflected by the Panther defender.
- A foul on the FT defense in the 9th minute gave the Triton's possession. Eckerd got a shot off on goal, but it was saved by Mette Brandes.
- In the 11th minute, the Triton's got their third shot of the match but was off target.
- After three throw in's, Florida Tech had an opportunity to take the lead, but Nora Oldmark's shot was off target.
- Eckerd took the lead in the 17th minute after a nice ball inside the box was deflected a couple times and bounced to a Triton player who was able to find the far-left side of the FT net.
- In the 28th minute, Rio Naganawa's shot was saved by the Eckerd keeper.
- Late in the first half, the Panthers had a couple nice looks at the goal, but Savannah Oxley's shot was saved, and Carolina Falcao's shot was deflected as the Panthers went into half trailing 0-1.
- Tech with six shots in the first half, fired four within the first eight minutes of the second half. Savannah Oxley and Lauryn Wood had two shots; both had one saved by the Eckerd goalkeeper.
- Mia Otero and Alice Mottershead attempted to tie the match with shots in the 60th and 63rd minutes, however, both shots were saved.
- Mette Brandes saved a shot in the 69th minute.
- With five minutes remaining in the match, Tech had shots on goal by Lauryn Wood, Rio Naganawa and Alice Mottershead. Fantastic goalkeeping by Eckerd kept the Panthers on the scoreboard.

- Florida Tech was shut out for the second time this season.
- Mette Brandes saved two Triton shots in the match.
