MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Florida Tech women's soccer team advances to their fifth consecutive Sunshine State Conference Championship match with their 2-1 win over Rollins on Thursday, Nov. 13.

GAME NOTES
- After two fouls on Rollins, Ellinor Blaasternes earned the first shot of the night that went off target.
- Rollins quickly attacked the Florida Tech defense as they earned corners in the sixth and ninth minutes. One resulted in a shot that was blocked.
- The Tars kept the pressure on the Panthers as they earned their third corner kick in the first 13 minutes of play.
- Tech flipped the script on the Tars as the Panthers had multiple opportunities to take the lead. Shots by Sara Batchadji and Lauryn Wood in minutes 15 and 17 didn't result in a shot on goal.
- The Panthers continued to navigate the Rollins defense as Batchadji and Izzie Bromage tested the Tars goalkeeper, but both shots were saved.
- In the 20th minute, the Panthers found a spark on offense as Nora Oldmark fired a rocket on goal from just outside the midfield circle that went over the Rollins goalie's outstretched hand to put the Panthers ahead 1-0.
- Rollins fired four shots in 40 seconds in the 36th minute. Three were blocked and another was saved by Kaitlin Sinkler to preserve the lead.
- In the 41st and 42nd minutes, both goalkeepers made saves to keep the score 1-0 going into half.
- In the 54th minute, Mia Otero had a great look on the Rollins net after a great pass from Kate Watson. Otero collected the rebound off a Tar defender and found the far-left side of the net to put Tech up 2-0.
- Rollins had another corner kick in the 64th minute. Off the set piece, Kaitlin Sinkler made a nice save to hold down the Tar offense.
- In the 76th minute, Rollins was able to break the Panther defense and sneak one by Sinkler to bring the match to 2-1.
- Tech did a great job of playing keep away and possessing the ball as they held the Tars to only one shot the rest of the way. The shot came in the 83rd minute that was saved by Sinkler.
- Florida Tech was able to hold down the Tars as they advance to their fifth consecutive SSC Championship match.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
- Nora Oldmark scored her first goal of the season in the 20th minute.
- Mia Otero found the back of the net for the fourth time this season in the 54th minute.
- Kate Watson and Sara Batchadji recorded assists.
- This is Tech's fifth straight SSC Championship appearance.
- Florida Tech had a 418:56 shutout streak snapped which is the third longest in program history and the longest in 12 years.
