Winter Park, Fla. – The Panthers struck first, but the Tars responded with a steady offensive attack to hand Tech a 7-3 defeat. Despite strong efforts at the plate from Cole Patrick and Conner Wiggins, Tech couldn't overcome the Tars as they pulled away for the win.

- The Panthers started on a good note after Pedro Figueroa led off with a walk and advanced to second after Roman Samson was hit by a pitch.
- Cole Patrick then singled to center field, driving in Figueroa to give the Panthers an early 1-0 lead.
- The Tars responded in the bottom half from a double to left center, bringing home two and putting Rollins ahead 2-1.
- In the third, Rollins extended their lead with a solo home run to left field, and later in the inning, a single brought in two runs, making it 5-1.
- In the fifth, Conner Wiggins singled to reach first base, stole second, and later advanced to third after a Rollins error. Figueroa then hit a sacrifice fly to center field, allowing Wiggins to score, reducing the deficit to 5-2.
- In the bottom half, the Tars collected a double to right-center, driving in one to restore a four-run lead at 6-2.
- In the seventh, Gabe Garrett walked and later advanced to second on a wild pitch. Jaden Hill then singled to right field, bringing Garrett home to make it 6-3.
