GAME ONE:
STATS OF THE GAME:
Final: Florida Tech 8, Bridgeport 2
Records: Florida Tech (11-12, 4-5 SSC) | Bridgeport (7-5, 0-0 CACC)
Location: USSSA Space Coast Complex | Viera, Fla.
STATS OF THE GAME:
- Both teams began the game with a 1-2-3 first inning.

- The Purple Knights retaliated, leading off the bottom of the second with a solo shot to left field, tying the game at 1-1.
- Once the Panthers got rolling, they found it hard to stop. Ella Niles walked and swiped a base before coming home on a Celeste Casillas single to center field. Tech retook the 2-1 advantage.
- Sammy Murphy shut the Bridgeport offense down again, allowing the Panthers to increase their lead to 4-1 in the top of the fourth.
- Bridgeport put up a run in the bottom of the inning with three singles. But Tech responded with a run, the next half-inning off the bat of Casillas.
- With two runners on, Brooklyn Lorenzo made an unbelievable defensive play, catching a lineout then immediately diving for the tag out at second base, ending the fifth for the Purple Knights.
- Tech added three insurance runs in the final inning as the Panthers had four hits, three being doubles. The Panthers secured the 8-2 win over the Purple Knights.

- Felician scored first in the third by poking a ball through the middle with two outs.
- The Falcons doubled their lead in the fourth when a walked runner made it all the way around.
- Tech's offense was lifted for the second time by an inside-the-park home run. After Rider and Lorenzo singled, Nelson scorched a ball to right field and sprinted to home plate, driving in three RBI and the 3-2 Panther edge.
- Fariello tacked on one more, bringing home Niles from second base. She pitched her last inning, downing the first three batters and ending on a strikeout.
- In the bottom of the fifth, Lorenzo, like Nelson, stroked a ball to right field but stopped at third base for a triple, plating a run. The following batter, Kate Rodel, earned her first career RBI when she singled up the middle. Tech had the 6-2 lead with two innings left in the game.
- Kelsey Hahn stepped into the circle and commanded it as she did against Wilmington. The Orlando native forced three strikeouts, including two while swinging.
- Niles recorded her second hit and third stolen base before scoring on a Schwartz triple to left field, just out of reach of the defenders' glove. Hailey Mix helped Tech register one more run before they were finished.
- Hahn was still on fire in the seventh, striking out two more, sealing the 8-2 Panthers' win.
