MELBOURNE, Fla. – Four Florida Tech women's swimming scholar-athletes landed a spot on the College Sports Communications (CSC) Academic All-District team when the organization announced its selections on Tuesday afternoon.
Kiera Ceely,
Sophia Sichtnik,
Debora Xavier, and
Miranda Olhasso represent the Panthers on the CSC Academic All-District Team. All four contributed significantly to the Panthers during the 2024-25 campaign.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top scholar-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and the classroom.
Ceely, a sophomore, is earning her degree in Biomedical Engineering with a 3.87 grade point average. Ceely had five top-five finishes this past season with her best finish coming in second place in the 200 Y Fly against Lynn.
Sichtnik, is a junior earning a bachelor's degree in Business and Environmental Studies with a 3.89 grade point average. Sichnik had 10 top-five finishes this past season with her best performance coming against Rollins finishing second in both the 100 Y and 200 Y breaststroke.
Xavier, a senior, is earning her Psychology degree and holds a 3.52 grade point average. Xavier had 10 top-three finishes this past season including two first-place finishes against Florida Southern in the 50 Y Free and the 100 Y Free, two first-place finishes against Rollins, and a first-place finish in the 50 Y Free in the SSC Championship.
Olhasso, a junior, is majoring in Applied Mathematics, holding a 3.76 grade point average. Olhasso had nine top-five finishes this past season including three first-place finishes, all coming against Rollins twice in the 100 Y Fly and once in the 100 Y Free.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early April.
