WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Florida Tech women's soccer team stuns Rollins with a 3-2 victory with three goals in the final five minutes of play on Wednesday, Sept. 24. The Panthers improve to 4-1-2 (1-0-1 SSC) while the Tars are now 4-2-0 (0-1-0 SSC)

GAME NOTES
- The Panthers got the offense working early with shots in the fourth and fifth minutes by Katie Ormerod and Ellinor Blaasternes.
- Rollins gained the early lead with a shot into the top left corner in the ninth minute.
- The Tars kept their foot on the gas as they maintained possession with three corner kicks and a shot on goal in the 15th minute to the 18th minute.
- Rollins found the back of the net for their second goal of the first half in the 19th minute.
- Looking for a response, Florida Tech missed shots in the 19th and 23rd minute.
- Tech notched two shots and three corner kicks in the 31st through 34th minutes but the lone shot on goal was saved by the Rollins keeper.
- The Panthers defended two corners by Rollins in the 36th minute.
- Kaitlin Sinkler picked up two saves in the 37th and 40th minutes.
- In the 49th and 54th minute, shots by Sara Batchadji and Ada Geier were saved by Rollins keeper.
- Trailing 0-2, Florida Tech found the back of the net in the 85th minute as Rebecca Storr shot just outside of the box to give Tech their first goal of the match.
- After a foul on Rollins in the 87th minute near the box, Sara Batchadji lofted the ball over the Tars goalkeeper to tie the match at 2-2.
- 48 seconds later, Rebecca Storr drove forward near midfield and drilled the ball into the back of the net to put the Panthers on top with her second goal of the match.
- The Panthers were able to hang on until the final horn to pick up their first conference win of the 2025 season.

- This is the Panthers first win since being down by two goals since a 3-2 overtime win over Embry-Riddle on Sept. 16, 2004.
