DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Florida Tech women's soccer team forces a draw against No. 19 Embry-Riddle of Saturday, Sept. 27. With the tie, Florida Tech moves to 4-1-3 (1-0-2SSC) while Embry-Riddle remains unbeaten at 2-0-3 (1-0-1 SSC)

GAME NOTES
- Neither team tallied a shot within the first seven minutes of play.
- Florida Tech recorded two shots in the eighth minute, one by Alice Mottershead and the other coming from Ada Geier. Mottershead's shot was on target but saved by the Embry-Riddle keeper.
- The Eagles had corner kicks in the 12th and 16th minutes, but good defense from the Panther prevented any ERAU shots.
- Florida Tech had a great opportunity to crack the scoreboard, but Sara Batchadji's shot went off the top woodwork.
- Embry-Riddle only had one shot in the first half which came in the 33rd minute which was far left.
- Nina Santiago fired a shot in the 37th minute that was saved by ERAU's goalkeeper.
- Both teams combined for six shots in the first half.
- Kaitlin Sinkler saved a shot in the 48th minute to keep Embry-Riddle off the scoreboard.
- The Eagles found the back of the net in the 60th minute to take the lead.
- ERAU did a nice job of maintaining possession as the Panthers did not record another shot until the 78th minute where Rebecca Storr missed a tad high from outside the box.
- Alice Mottershead had two great shots on goal in the 84th minute, but a save by ERAU and the Panthers second shot going off the crossbar denied Tech of tying the game.
- Sara Batchadji nailed a goal in with her left foot to tie the game at 1-1 in the 86th minute.
- Both teams were held in check to finish regulation with a 1-1 tie.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
- Sara Batchadji now has three goals this season.
- This was the Panthers second lowest shots on goal total in a game this season (4).
- Florida Tech held a high-powered Eagle offense to only two shots on goal and four shots total.
