MELBOURNE, Fla. — Florida Tech Athletic Director Jamie Joss has announced an expansion of responsibilities for Christina Hardman, Associate Athletic Director for External Operations, who will now assume additional sport administrator duties while also overseeing game promotions.
In her expanded role, Hardman will serve as the sport administrator for women's basketball and men's rowing, while game-day promotions will transition under her external operations portfolio. The move aligns fan engagement, branding, and game-day execution with the department's broader strategic goals and continued focus on enhancing the scholar-athlete and fan experience.
"Christina has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and a commitment to excellence that has elevated our entire athletic operations," said Joss. "Her ability to build and develop high-performing teams, execute complex game day operations with precision, and maintain clear communication across departments has set the standard for our program and established her as a leader in Sunshine State Conference external operations.
"As we continue to grow and enhance the scholar-athlete experience, it became clear that Christina's talents and vision needed to be utilized at an even greater capacity. Expanding her oversight to include game day promotions as part of her external operations responsibilities, along with sport administration for men's rowing and women's basketball, is a natural progression that aligns with her proven track record of turning challenges into opportunities for excellence.
"Her ability to create engaging, well-organized promotional experiences will bring new energy and professionalism to our game day atmosphere. Her Division I rowing experience brings invaluable perspective to our men's rowing program by us understand the unique demands of the sport. This firsthand knowledge, combined with her organizational expertise and scholar-athlete-centered approach, positions both programs for continued success.

Hardman has played a key role in advancing Florida Tech Athletics' external operations, including communications, event management, and engagement initiatives. Her expanded responsibilities reflect the department's commitment to strategic leadership and continued growth across all programs.
Hardman joined Florida Tech as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in August of 2021 and later became Associate Athletic Director for Communications in July 2022. Hardman was promoted to Associate Athletic Director for External Operations in June 2024.
