On behalf of Florida Tech Athletics, we are excited to share important updates regarding game day operations at the Panther Athletics Complex and Clemente Center. As we continue to invest in enhanced experiences for our scholar-athletes and fans and the broader Florida Tech community, we are implementing policy and access adjustments that reflect our commitments to safety, efficiency, and creating a first-class game day environment and experience.
New Tailgating Location, Guidelines
To create a more organized and enjoyable pre-game atmosphere with a streamlined entrance and accommodate the pending construction activity near the Varsity Training Center and the main entrance to the Panther Athletics Complex, Florida Tech Athletics has designated a new, centralized tailgating area highlighted on the map below.
New Entry Guidelines, Clear Bag Policy
To provide a safer environment and more expedited entry for fans, Florida Tech has implemented a clear bag policy that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into all sporting events at the Clemente Center and at the Panther Athletics Complex.
The clear bag policy is consistent with professional leagues and aligns with best practices across collegiate athletics.
Additionally, no outside containers, food, or beverages, including alcohol, may be brought into any athletic facility, stadium competition area, or spectator seating area from outside the venue unless expressly permitted by Florida Tech Athletics. Refillable plastic water bottles are allowed if empty upon entering the facility; free refilling stations are available at the Clemente Center and the Panther Athletics Complex concession stand.
