MELBOURNE, Fla. – The power bats were out on Saturday afternoon with four different Panthers crushing home runs for a combined 10 of Tech's 16 runs. Florida Tech swept Adelphi in a 10-6 eight inning comeback and 6-0 shutout.

- Adelphi went down quietly in the opening inning, as Ava McCormick in her second start recorded two quick outs and a strikeout to start the game.
- Florida Tech struck first in the bottom of the first, when Haley Rider crushed a three-run home run after Miranda Schwartz reached on a hit-by-pitch and Emma Chisholm reached on an error, giving the Panthers a 3–0 lead.
- Adelphi responded in the second, stringing together three hits and scoring on an RBI groundout to trim the lead to 3–1.
- Back-to-back singles from Rider and Malaya Nelson, had the Panthers threatened in the third, but the rally ended with a groundout.
- Adelphi tied the game in the third, scoring once on a wild pitch and again on an RBI double to even the contest at 3–3.
- Mia Terito reclaimed the lead  in the fourth, launching a solo home run to make it 4–3.
- Answering again in the fifth, Adelphi tied the game at 4–4 with a solo homer before both teams traded scoreless frames in the middle innings.
- Adelphi capitalized in the top half with two unearned runs to move ahead 6–4.
- Tech mounted a late rally in the seventh, loading the bases and bringing home a run on Rider's two RBI single, forcing extras with a 6–6 tie.
- Retaking the lead, Adelphi hit a solo homer in the eighth.
- Tech delivered the decisive blow in the bottom of the eighth, as Miranda Schwartz drove in a tying run before Emma Chisholm launched a dramatic three-run walk-off homer to seal a 10-7 victory for Florida Tech.

- After getting the win in extras, Sammy Murphy returned to start Game Two, putting Adelphi down in order to open the game, as the Panthers recorded two quick groundouts and a flyout to center.
- Chisholm delivered an RBI single before Malaya Nelson followed with another RBI knock to give the Panthers a 2–0 lead in the bottom of the first.
- Tech broke the game open in the second, highlighted by Miranda Schwartz's three-run home run to right field that extended the advantage to 5–0.
- Adelphi threatened in the third and fifth innings, putting runners in scoring position, but the Panthers' defense prevented the Panthers from crossing the plate.
- Chloe Fariello singled and later scored on Chisholm's RBI single, extending Tech's advantage to 6–0.
- Murphy kept Adelphi quiet all game, allowing only a handful of hits while working out of multiple scoring threats.
- Tech closed the game in the seventh, retiring Adelphi in order to secure the 6-0 shutout victory.
NOTABLE PANTHERS:
- Emma Chisholm, the hero of Game One, was 5-for-8 overall with a home run and five RBI.
- Miranda Schwartz was 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI.
- Haley Rider in Game One alone tallied three hits, including her second home run of the season and 3 RBI. She added two more RBI in Game Two on a single.
- Mia Terito registered her second home run in three days while going 3-for-7.
- Sammy Murphy earned two wins, one in relief and one as the starter. Murphy allowed five totaled hits in eight innings and struck out four.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:
- Tech remains unbeaten against Adelphi, moving to 4-0
- The Panthers are 16-1 all-time against teams from the Northeast-10.Â
- Tech is 219-123-1 against non-SSC opponents under Val Silvestrini.
- Chisholm hit her SSC-leading ninth home run which is tied fifth most in a season by a Panther with Jennifer Wise in 2007.
- Schwartz' three-run dinger was the 20th of her career, tying Jennifer Dixon's program record back in 2002.
- Ella Niles became the 13th Panther with 50 or more walks in their career.
