Panthers Land Two on D2CCA All-South Region Teams

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Florida Tech softball added two more postseason honors as Emma Chisholm and Chloe Fariello earned D2CCA All-South Region recognition following standout 2026 campaigns. Chisholm was selected to the First Team, while Fariello earned Second Team recognition after being named All-SSC First Team.

Chisholm keeps adding to her historic 2026 campaign, earning D2CCA All-South Region First Team honors after already being named the SSC Player of the Year, All-SSC First Team, and an NFCA South All-Region First Team selection. The junior produced one of the top offensive seasons in Florida Tech softball history, leading the Sunshine State Conference in batting average (.434), home runs (19), home runs per game, on-base percentage (.511), slugging percentage (.882), and total bases (134), while ranking second in RBI (61) and hits (66).

In her first season in Melbourne, the Lake Sumter transfer rewrote the Panther record book, setting single-season program marks in home runs, RBI, extra-base hits (30), slugging percentage, and total bases while also moving into the top five in batting average and on-base percentage. Nationally, the Valrico native ranked among the Division II leaders in home runs, home runs per game, and slugging percentage, while her 19 home runs marked the second-most in a single season in SSC history and the highest total by a conference player since 2005.

Chisholm remained dominant throughout conference play, batting .417 with 10 home runs against SSC opponents while homering against eight of the league's 10 teams. She also provided consistency defensively at first base, recording 280 putouts with a .976 fielding percentage.

After already earning All-SSC First Team honors, Fariello added another postseason accolade with a selection to the D2CCA All-South Region Second Team. The sophomore established herself as one of the toughest outs in the SSC all season, recording three perfect games at the plate and 15 multi-hit performances, including a five-hit game against Palm Beach Atlantic.

Fariello finished the year batting .402, the ninth-highest single-season average in program history, while her .471 on-base percentage ranked third all-time at Florida Tech. Her .465 batting average in conference play led the SSC. The Lake Worth native added nine doubles, four triples, 21 RBI, 18 walks, and 17 stolen bases at the plate.

She also made a major impact in the circle, appearing in 14 games with 10 starts and posting a 6-4 record across 60.2 innings. Fariello struck out 32 batters while walking only 11. Defensively, she contributed both as a pitcher and outfielder, totaling 72 putouts and 18 assists with a .938 fielding percentage.
