Chisholm Joins Florida Tech Greats with All-American Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Emma Chisholm's standout 2026 campaign reached another milestone as she earned NFCA First Team and D2CCA Second Team All-American recognition. The honors caps off one of the most decorated seasons the program has seen, further cementing Chisholm's place among the elite players in both Florida Tech and Sunshine State Conference history.

Chisholm capped off one of the most dominant seasons in Florida Tech softball history by earning NFCA First Team All-American honors and D2CCA Second Team All-American recognition, becoming just the third All-American in Florida Tech softball history, joining Panther Hall of Famer Elisa Bartolo and Melanie Murphy, and only the second Panther ever to receive First Team recognition from the NFCA with Bartolo, who did so in 1995 and 1996. The junior also became the first player in Florida Tech softball history to earn multiple All-American honors in the same season, adding to a historic 2026 campaign that included SSC Player of the Year, All-SSC First Team, NFCA South All-Region First Team, and D2CCA All-South Region First Team recognition while cementing her place among the elite players in both Florida Tech and Sunshine State Conference history.

The Lake Sumter transfer led the Sunshine State Conference in batting average (.434), home runs (19), home runs per game, on-base percentage (.511), slugging percentage (.882), and total bases (134), while also finishing second in RBI (61) and hits (66). In her first season in Melbourne, Chisholm rewrote the Panther record book, setting single-season program records in home runs, RBI, extra-base hits (30), slugging percentage, and total bases while also moving into the top five in batting average and on-base percentage.

Nationally, the Valrico native ranked among the Division II leaders in home runs, home runs per game, and slugging percentage. Her 19 home runs are the second-most in a single season in SSC history and the highest total by a conference player since 2005. Against SSC competition, Chisholm hit .417 with 10 home runs while homering against eight of the conference's 10 opponents. Defensively, she was also a steady presence at first base, totaling 280 putouts with a .976 fielding percentage.
