Biography

Virginia: Played two seasons for University of Virginia men's lacrosse team...DNP in 2015 due to injury...named to 2015 ACC Academic Honor Roll...appeared in 11 of 16 games in 2014...made UVA debut vs. Rutgers (Feb. 22), recording his first career goal and a season-high four ground balls and winning 9-of-15 faceoffs ...won 26-of-69 faceoffs (.420) during the season while recording 15 ground balls and six caused turnovers.

Hamilton College: Played one season for DIII Hamilton College, helping the Continentals to a 9-6 record in 2013...appeared in 15 games, recording a team-high 75 groundballs, 12 caused turnovers, five goals and two assists...won 94-of-201 faceoffs (.468).

High School: Attended Newton North High School in Newton, Mass...earned three letters as a member of the lacrosse, football and indoor track and field teams...played running back, kicker and defensive end while starting three seasons on the football team...posted a 4x200 record as a sprinter with a time of 131.37 (split of 22.4)...named to the honor roll all four years of high school...member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Eric Menninger and Kate Hacker...has one older brother, Elias...volunteered at the Animal Rescue League of Boston...helped coach Newton Youth Lacrosse Camp...enjoys writing stories and poems and playing the saxophone.
