Biography

2021: Played and started 27 games. Lead the team in batting average (.348), OPS (1.005), runs (25), hits (32), doubles (7), home runs (3), slugging (.522), walks (23), and on base percentage (.483). 

2020: Played and started 24 games. Lead the team in batting average (.326), OPS (.835), and Walks (19). Collected a on base percentage of .463 and went 5-for-5 in stolen bases. Posted a .931 fielding percentage in 55 attempts in the shortstop position. 

2019: Played in 39 games and started 38 of them...Collected a .353 batting average with 47 hits, seven doubles, 24 RBI's, and a .406 slugging percentage... Registered seven out of 10 stolen bases. 

2018: Played and started in 48 games. Recording nine doubles with 40 runs off 55 hits. Having three home runs with a batting average of 0.313 and Slug Pct. of  0.415.

2017: Played nine games... Named to FIT Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Recorded two runs scored, one against Embry-Riddle (Apr. 14) and one in win over Lynn (Mar. 25).

High School:  Attended Cypress Bay High School in Weston, Fla.  Played baseball during his high school career and achieved four Varsity Letters.

Personal:  Son Alberto and Maria...  has one sibling, Thomas...Raul chose Florida Tech because of the baseball program that the school provides.   His career goal is to achieve Certified Public Accounting(CPA) Certification
