2018: Appeared in 13 games…scored six goals on 24 shots…recorded seven ground balls and one caused turnover…named to Athletic Director’s and SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2017: Appeared in all 15 games…recorded 11 points on nine goals and two assists…collected seven ground balls and three caused turnovers…named to Athletic Director’s and SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
2016: Appeared in 13 games...recorded eight points on seven goals and one assist to go along with four ground balls...scored two goals vs. Seton Hill (Mar. 9)...posted two goals against Alderson Broaddus (Mar. 10)…named to Athletic Director’s and SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
High School: Weinstein earned six varsity letters in Lacrosse and Soccer at Franklin High School in Reisterstown, Md... as a junior he served as team captain while also raking in First Team All-Baltimore County honors... in 2015, Weinstein again served as team captian and was named a U.S. Lacrosse High School All-American, First Team All-Baltimore County, a MSLCA Senior All-Star, a Baltimore County Senior All-Star and Team MVP...his senior season, Weinstien recorded 32 goals, 21 assists, 110 ground balls and won 164 of 213 face-offs (76.9%) on the way to being leading his Franklin HS squad to a Baltimore County Championship.
Club: Matt played seven years of club lacrosse with Team Maryland, Lax World and Chesapeake Rock.
Personal: Son of Bruce and Rachael Weinstein...Has an older sister, Chelsea, who plays lacrosse at Salisbury University... Chose Florida Tech for its beach location, strong academic reputation and rising lacrosse program...Matt is studying business and plans to pursue an MBA degree.
