The Boathouse at the Anchorage
The Florida Tech Boat house at the Anchorage was constructed during the 1970s. The site is located at 1216 E River Drive, Melbourne, Florida, 32901 and is the home of the men's rowing program's main boat house, "The Tent" and "The Workshop".

The Boathouse at the Anchorage is a quick 7-minute drive to and from campus.

From the Anchorage, the boat house accesses the Indian River, the intercoastal river that runs up and down the eastern side of Florida. An excellent body of water for rowing: 2000 meters wide, no turns, minimal boat traffic during practices.  We are blessed with beautiful sunrises and wildlife encounters as we get our training.

The main boat house is where the 8's and 4's boats are primarily stationed as well as all oars and rowing machines. Between the larger scale boats, the main boat house can hold up a total of 10 boats. The tent is the home for the smaller-scale 4's and pairs boats and is designed to house eight 4's and eight pairs. The workshop located next to the main boat house is where the boats are worked on and repaired.

also, the men's rowing team has three wakeless launches which are used for practice and races for coaches and media.

In addition to The Boathouse at the Anchorage on the Indian River, Florida Tech has a secondary site at Canal 54.
