High School: Attended John Carroll High School in Fort Pierce, Fla…played four years of baseball for the Golden Rams…batted .407 with one home run, five doubles, two triples, five stolen bases and 24 RBIs…named Bill Jarrett Tournament MVP in 2008…graduated with honors and was in the National Honors Society…played three years of summer ball for American Legion Post 39.

Personal: Son of Ray and Kim Jones…chose Florida Tech for its great academics and baseball program…after his Panther career, he would like to go to medical school to be a doctor…enjoys fishing, going to the beach, spending time with his family and volunteering…favorite sport is baseball and favorite athlete is Chipper Jones…admires his parents because they are very supportive and they have sacrificed a lot for him…favorite quote is “People ask me, what do I do during the winter when there is no baseball.  I’ll tell you what I do, I stare out the window and wait for the spring.”…favorite book is Soldier Boys by Dean Hughes…favorite athlete is Robert Downey Jr…listens to all kinds of music…enjoys vacationing in Seattle, Wash…one day he would like to visit Australia.
