Florida Tech Panthers

2010: Earned his first Rawlings “Gold Glove” award…played all 55 games and started all but two…collected 66 hits, including 15 doubles, four triples, and one home run…added 34 RBIs, scored 53 times, and drew 35 walks…held the third highest batting average on the team (.342)…also held one of the highest slugging percentages (.477) and on-base percentages (.439)…was 15-for-18 in stolen bases for the season…only committed two errors as he posted a .981 fielding percentage…strung together an 11-game hitting streak (3/13-3/27) and a 14-game hitting streak later on in the season (4/3-4/24)…went 4-for-7 at the plate, with two RBIs, and three runs scored in a 13-2 win over Rollins College (3/20).    

2009: Started 27 games and played in 30…batted .256 on the season…collected 31 hits, four of which were extra-baggers (two doubles, one triple and one home run)…added 12 RBIs, scored 23 runs and drew 12 walks…finished the season with nine steals…notched a perfect fielding percentage of 1.000 as he recorded 62 putouts and three assists.

Florida Tech: Started all but five of the 46 games he played in during his rookie campaign in the outfield... posted 46 hits with 34 runs and 30 RBIs and a .305 BA... shared the team lead with 17 stolen bases... named the AD’s Honor Roll.

High School: Graduated from American Heritage School Boca-Delray, home of the Stallions… he made the Dean’s list all four years… was named all-county.

Personal: Chris was born on January 31, 1989 and is the son of Linda and Welton Fox... he is an accounting major and chose Florida Tech for its academics and location... after school he wants to return home and start a good career.
