Biography

2023: Appeared in four games, starting in one... Collected one hit for a double. ...Named to Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll. 

2022: Played 27 games and started 21 of them… Collected 24 hits, 16 runs, four doubles, two triples, 15 RBIs, and recorded a .282 batting average. ... Garcia stole two bases on two attempts and posted a .354 on-base percentage. 
 
2021: Played 17 games and started 16 of them...Collected 17 hits in 58 at-bats for a .293 batting average. ...Posted 11 runs, a double, a triple, five RBIs, and a .345 slugging. ...Garcia also walked seven times and recorded a .369 on-base percentage. 

2020: Played nine and started five games collecting 25 at-bats and seven hits, two of them being doubles. 

High School: Attended Colegio Real Royal School at Colombia where he graduated in 2019. 

Personal: Son of Yolima Ruiz and Armando Garcia...Diego chose Florida Tech because of the baseball program and the chance to continue his education.
