2012: Appeared in 35 games, started 30…scored 22 runs while recording nine doubles, one triple and 10 RBIs…posted a .920 fielding percentage with 76 putouts…went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a pair of runs scored in an 11-2 victory over Eckerd (3/31)…had an OBP of .322 and slugging percentage of .317.
2011: Appeared in 49 games, started 49…had 175 at-bats, scored 30 runs and had 10 doubles, one triple, four home runs and 31 RBIs…had the fifth most hits on the team, 45...went 9-for-11 in stolen bases…only committed three errors as he posted a .990 fielding percentage with 285 putouts…helped contribute to an 8-0 win against Tampa (3/25) by going 3-for-3 with one run scored, one double, one walk, one hit-by-pitch and nine putouts.
High School: Drafted by Colorado in the 36th round (1,100th overall) of the 2010 MLB First-Year Player Draft…attended Sarasota High School in Sarasota, Fla…earned three varsity letters in baseball for the Sailors…during his senior year, he batted .373 with six home runs, 10 doubles and 23 RBIs…did not commit a single error…awarded ABC7 Athlete of the Week (4/24/10), District 7 Player of the Year, Sarasota Tribune All-Area Baseball Player of the Year, Ronald K.
